Click: An Online Love Story

Recently, Michelle read and reviewed Click: An Online Love Story by Lisa Becker. When Lisa contacted Eat Sleep Read Review, she offered the whole trilogy for review, so you can expect to read more reviews from Michelle regarding this series, and if you like Sex and the City, you’ll love Click.

The amount of review requests that we get are astronomical. So much so that we’ve recently added more reviewers to Eat Sleep Read Review. All the authors are so kind, but usually, it’s rare that we can accept a whole series for review without reading book one first, but the premise of these books were so unique and interesting, that Michelle could not resist. So, to give you a taste of what’s to come and to point you in the direction of this fun, sassy and witty series, here’s a look at each book and a great book trailer at the end. Also, check back with us soon as we have an interview with Lisa Becker coming up!

Book One: Click: An Online Love Story

clickFast approaching her 30th birthday and finding herself not married, not dating, and without even a prospect or a house full of cats, Renee Greene, the heroine of Click: An Online Love Story, reluctantly joins her best guy pal on a journey to find love online in Los Angeles. The story unfolds entirely through emails between Renee and her best friends (anal-compulsive Mark, the overly-judgmental Ashley and the over-sexed Shelley) as well as the gentlemen suitors she meets online. From the guy who starts every story with “My buddies and I were out drinking one night,” to the egotistical “B” celebrity looking for someone to stroke his ego, Renee wades into the shallow end of the dating (cess)pool and endures her share of hilarious and heinous cyber dates. Fraught with BCC’s, FWD’s and inadvertent Reply to All’s, readers will cheer, laugh, cry and cringe following the email exploits of Renee and friends. And ultimately, they will root for Renee to “click” with the right man.
